AI Meta Ad Management: Set Up Campaigns by Chat

Want to advertise on Instagram and Facebook, but Ads Manager puts you off? With AI-powered Meta ad management, you set up the campaign by chatting. We explain which objectives you can choose, the 3-step setup, and why budget decisions are always applied only with your approval.

What does AI-powered Meta ad management mean?

Most business owners who open Ads Manager for the first time get stuck in the same place. Campaign, ad set and ad levels; objective selection, placements, budget settings... Each makes sense, but all together they feel dense. With AI-powered Meta ad management, a chat takes the place of these screens: you write what you want in your own words, and the AI turns it into campaign settings.

In Chatopya, Meta Marketing AI handles this job. A sentence like "I want to show my new season products to women in Instagram Stories, and I can spend 500 TL a day" is enough to get started. You do not get lost in menus. You describe what you need, and we pin down the rest together.

Which campaigns can you set up by chat?

Meta offers six ad objectives in Ads Manager: awareness, traffic, engagement, leads, app promotion and sales. Meta Marketing AI works with five of them:

  • Awareness: When you want to show your brand or a new product to as many people as possible.
  • Traffic: To send people to your website, your product page or a campaign page.
  • Engagement: If you want more activity on your post, your profile or your inbox.
  • Leads: When you want to collect contact details such as a phone number or email.
  • Conversions: If you are targeting a specific action on your site, such as a purchase.

App promotion is not on this list. If you want people to download your mobile app, you need to set up that campaign in Ads Manager.

For placements, there are the feed and Stories areas of Instagram and Facebook; you can also set up a conversion ad. For targeting, you choose age and gender, and you enter the budget as a daily amount in TL.

When should you go back to Ads Manager? When you set up by chat, targeting works through age and gender. If you need multi-layered audience setups or advanced test scenarios, Ads Manager stays more flexible.

A campaign in 3 steps: how does the chat go?

What matters here is less which button you press and more what you tell the AI. We suggest thinking of the chat in three steps.

1. State the objective in one sentence

Write clearly what you expect from the ad. "I want more people to know me" maps to awareness, "I want them to visit my site" to traffic, "I want them to fill in a form" to leads, "I want them to buy" to conversions. You do not have to know the technical name; describing what you actually need is enough.

2. Give the budget and the audience

Say how much you want to spend per day in TL, and who you want to reach by age range and gender. Also say where the ad should appear: Instagram or Facebook, feed or Stories? Meta's own recommendation is worth noting too: plan your budget so that it is spent over at least seven days, so the system can learn from performance and improve delivery.

3. Check the summary and approve

Before going live, look at the campaign summary one more time: is the objective right, is the budget daily, is the age range what you wanted? Having your ad creative and main message ready beforehand speeds this step up a lot. If everything is in place, you approve.

So what happens next? Your campaign goes live and the work moves on to monitoring.

What does the AI do while the campaign is running?

Setup is half the job. Meta Marketing AI tracks metrics such as your campaigns' CPM (cost per thousand impressions) and cost per lead, compares campaigns with each other and gives you a prioritized action plan.

In practice, this means that instead of hunting for columns in report tables, you ask "Which of my campaigns is more efficient this week?" Say you have two lead campaigns and the cost per form is clearly higher in one. You see this in the chat and talk about which campaign to prioritize. In short, some of the burden of interpreting the numbers comes off your shoulders.

Is there automatic budget optimization?

We hear this question often, so here is a clear answer: Meta Marketing AI does not change your budget on its own. Every action, such as increasing or decreasing the budget, or pausing or restarting a campaign, is applied only when you give approval. The AI brings the recommendation. You have the final say.

We do not see this as a shortcoming. The money spent is yours, and for a small business an uncontrolled budget increase can be an unpleasant surprise at the end of the month. The approval step lets you decide quickly while keeping your hands on the wheel.

There is one more point not to mix up. Meta's Ads Manager has a feature called Advantage+ campaign budget; with it, Meta's own system can distribute the campaign budget across ad sets automatically. That is a mechanism on the side of Meta's ad delivery. Chatopya's suggestions in the chat are a separate thing and always wait for your approval.

Short summary The AI monitors, compares and recommends. Budget changes, pausing and restarting are not applied without your approval.

Ads Manager or management by chat?

The two are not rivals; they answer different needs. Choose according to your own situation.

Let's be honest: if you have a specialist who manages ads every day, the detail Ads Manager offers will be useful to you. But if you treat ads as something you keep putting off with "I'll look at it sometime," setting up by chat lowers that barrier considerably.

What happens to the messages that come from ads?

Engagement campaigns can bring activity to your inbox. At that point, messages should not be left scattered. In Chatopya, Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp conversations land in a single inbox, the Conversations screen; you can find the details on our Instagram management page.

If you want to bring the customer straight into a WhatsApp chat, take a look at our guide to ads that lead to WhatsApp. The free entry point window that opens with a customer from this kind of ad is also an advantage in terms of message cost.
